Pretty dress with ugly sandals. Haha that’s how I like it, girly meets clumsy. I found the dress from Bangkok by the way. Also bought a black lace tunic, new bralette, light lilac nail polish (because I had a manicure there in that color, and fell in love with it!), some pearl bracelets and a white crochet skirt. Hmm I think that’s it. Oh and a kawaii jeweled Hello Kitty mirror, it was too cute to resist.

My new Samsonite suitcase, which I just got as a gift before trip. And almost lost it right away, but yeah luckily it was delivered back to my place yesterday.

Uusi Samsoniten laukkuni, jonka sain lahjaksi juuri ennen reissua. Ja jep, jonka meinasin kadottaa melkein samantien. Mutta eiköhän “kadonneet” laukut aina suurimmassa osassa tapauksista löydä lopulta tiensä perille, niinkuin nytkin.

Pathumwan Princess hotel was the one where we stayed at in Bangkok

Crazy fashion! This was some shop in Siam Center. I loved that shopping center by the way, full of cool small shops. And I also loved the fashion in general in Bangkok, though couldn’t imagine myself wearing those cute colorful pieces, inspired by cupcakes and video games. Haha at least that’s how it looked like!

Dinner and drinks at a design hotel called Siam@Siam. How amazing is that nightime view from the rooftop! This was the perfect night to end our trip. I’m definitely a city girl, I feel so relaxed when there are city sounds in the background, and I could have stared that view for hours.

Illallista ja drinkkejä design hotellissa nimeltä Siam@Siam. Siis kuinka siisti maisema katolta olikaan! Tämä ilta oli aivan täydellinen päätös reissulle.

I have still so many Thailand pictures to show you, so stay tuned! ;)

The trip was arranged and offered to me by Thai Tourist Office communication, it was a Discover Northern Thailand -experience!

I’ve never been to Thailand before and I don’t think that I will visit it in the nearest future. But I do really love how Thailand looks on the pictures. Yes it sounds weird but it’s so true. That’s why thanks a lot for sharing your photos, I can’t wait to come back later and see more :) And may be you will write a Top 10 places to see and visit in Thai, just in cases me or some one other will go there :)
Have a great weekend by the way heeey

Actually, I like those sandals. They are Birkenstocks, aren’t they? Everyone seems to wear them saying they are the most comfortable shoes they have ever owned so I’m going to buy myself a pair, too. :D

Wow!! You always have the best photo diaries!! I like your combo of a white, girly dress and “clumsy” sandals, very Isabel Marant like.

Marianna, which Urban Decay palette do you use? Naked 2 or Naked 3? I can see that most of the time you use gold/nude shades, so do i, but i also saw you with grey on your eyes. I’d like to try that on myself!
And btw, thanks for sharing what lipgloss you use. I just bought my YSL, but in shade 202. :) I love it!

I love your style! Like you I am happy to wear ugly sandals if it makes travelling around the world a little bit easier…Birkenstocks always come round in fashion every few years. I took mine to Marrakech recently and did some shoefies in them; not the prettiest of shoes but probably some of the most comfy!

I love your pics, the dress and the shoes. I bought some Birkenstocks last week – the Gizeh model however. I wore them just for one day, but also thought that they were quite comfy. And I am sure that the sole is mich better for the feet than the ones of most ballerinas. Have a nice Sunday!
